"Playgrxvnd" Concert

La Paloma

Playgrxvnd is Klaus Stroink's (Stay Homas, Nil Moliner, Búhos) first entirely personal and uncompromising project, an innovative instrumental proposal in which the trumpet rules a playground where conservatoire jazz collides with club electronica. Designed around a concept of "physical effectiveness" intended to saturate the senses and compel the audience into visceral movement, the show offers an exploratory journey fusing real and digital music live. Backed by a solid personal career and a discography of 3 EPs that have left no one indifferent, Playgrxvnd makes its festival debut, beginning a new stage with brand-new material and an ambitious tour. Klaus Stroink, trumpet, keyboards, electronics. Marc Soto, drums. Rai Benet, electric bass. Joan Palà, percussion. Litus Guilera, electric guitar. Kevin Díaz, keyboards. Greg Hollis, trumpet. Aitor Franch, tenor saxophone. Josep Valldeneu, baritone saxophone. Guillem Boltó, trombone. Sergi Aragó, trombone.

Part of the programme: 58th Barcelona International Jazz Festival. 58è Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona: 48 activities in Barcelona, from September 29 to December 23.
