Show title: Pol Batlle Ensemble. Singer-songwriter, indie folk – Barcelona. A major premiere at La Mercè! Teatre Grec hosts the presentation of the second of three preludes to singer-songwriter Pol Batlle's forthcoming album, La flor de Déu. The first prelude, La casa d'en Pol, was presented last May. The creative process was closely connected to saying goodbye to his mother, who had Alzheimer's disease in her early fifties. Now comes the second prelude to this future work, a proposal combining sensitivity, creative risk and joy. With strings, wind instruments and songs of the road… Pol Batlle Ensemble takes us deep into consciousness, memory and the first flower. And invites us to gather strength to continue through grief, through life. Concert with special arrangements created for the occasion by Dani López. Limited-capacity concert. Entry will not be permitted once the authorised capacity has been reached. This concert is a special production for La Mercè 2026.
