Teacher: Marcos Yáñez. Demographic changes at the end of the Middle Ages led to the emergence of the bourgeoisie, the individual and the modern European city. These cities competed to create ever more beautiful and grand art, resulting in an artistic revolution accompanied by the rediscovery of Classical humanism and the origins of modern philosophy and science. Bosch, Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci were children of this revolution.
