'Quintal Delas' Concert

Quintal Delas. Brazilian music, samba; Barcelona. A female music project based in Barcelona that champions the samba tradition from a contemporary, international and participatory perspective. Made up of artists from Brazil and Italy, the group was born from a shared passion for Brazilian popular music and the collective energy of the roda de samba. Inspired by quintals, courtyards where musicians and friends gather to play, sing and celebrate, the show aims to recover this community spirit and make the audience an active part of the concert. The proposal combines original arrangements with a repertoire including classics of Brazilian music and new reinterpretations. The project also stands out for its female perspective within a traditionally male-dominated genre, bringing new sensibilities and ways of inhabiting the stage.
