“I don't want to prove anything with this record; what I want is to enjoy playing with some of the most incredible musicians I've met,” Mirabet says of this original project that takes him into jazz at the head of a superb quartet: Perico Sambeat, Albert Sanz, Doug Weiss and Jordi Rossy. An intimate tribute to classic jazz and to the singer's father, a trombonist and great enthusiast of the genre, conceived almost like one of those classic sessions of the 1950s and 1960s: “We recorded all together, looking at one another, conversing through our instruments.
