Robert Finley is one of the great voices of contemporary blues. Born in Bernice, Louisiana, he spent decades performing on the street and leading gospel groups before releasing his first record at the age of 62, Age Don't Mean A Thing (2016). His talent caught the attention of Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), with whom he began a fruitful collaboration that has produced records such as Goin' Platinum, Sharecropper's Son and Black Bayou (2023), acclaimed by international critics. With a powerful voice and a captivating stage presence, Finley has established himself as an outstanding live performer, with international tours, appearances at major festivals and on programmes such as America's Got Talent and CBS Saturday Morning. Having overcome great adversity, including the loss of his sight, Robert Finley is now considered a true living legend of the blues.
