Samuel Blaser trombone · Russ Lossing piano · Masa Kamaguchi bass · Billy Mintz drums Trombonist Blaser presents a solid, empathetic quartet made up of Russ Lossing on keyboards, Masa Kamaguchi on double bass and Billy Mintz on drums. As leader, Blaser brings a clear but open and generous presence, creating a collaborative space where each musician can develop with complete expressive freedom. Early in the Mornin', a tribute to the blues, offers a sonic journey that blurs the boundaries between jazz, free improvisation and contemporary classical music.
