Director: Julie Taymor. Space: Auditori. Frida (2002) is a biographical film about the life of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. The story portrays her artistic career, her intense relationship with painter Diego Rivera and the personal and physical difficulties she had to face. It also addresses her political ideas, love life and the way she challenged the conventions of her time.
