"Sergio Del Boccio" Concert
26 February 2027 · 20:30
La 2, el Poble-sec, Sants-Montjuïc
Sergio Del Boccio, a Venezuelan queer artist based in Barcelona, has burst onto the scene with emotional, electronic and deliberately theatrical pop in which vulnerability and grandeur coexist with vocals of piercing intensity. His debut album, SUPERNOVAE, unfolds as a conceptual journey through the figure of an astronaut who leaves home to chase his star. Between the thrust of take-off and the fragility inherent in the solitude of the journey, his songs explore a poetic map of love, wounds, identity and the endless search for a place to return to. Having proved the strength of his project at Razzmatazz 3 and the Auditori del Liceu, and after sharing summer festival bills with international names such as Belle and Sebastian and Zucchero, Del Boccio comes to La [2] de Apolo to consolidate a stage show marked by catharsis and drama. An ever-expanding sound world in which electronics and band instrumentation intertwine with vocal performance, bringing to life songs as magnetic as Supernova, Funeral and Cicatrices.
Part of the programme: Festival "Guitar Bcn 2027". See the 28 activities in this programme in Barcelona, from January 15 to October 2.
