Series 'Les cadires de Tàpies. Invocar l’escletxa'

The third edition of the series Les cadires de Tàpies, subtitled Invocar l'escletxa, presents eight sound actions placing the voice at the centre as living matter and words as a territory of construction and transformation. Through hybrid practices combining performance, music, dance, orality, electronics and poetry, the invited voices become agents occupying the void —that fragile and necessary space between the intimate and the collective— and transfiguring it into a place of active and poetic presence: the crack. The series not only accompanies oral memory but puts it under tension, reinterprets it and projects it into the future, bringing tradition and modernity into dialogue. Today's voices confront and engage with Antoni Tàpies's material and symbolic universe: his forceful gesture, critical gaze and profound connection with the invisible inhabiting matter and silence. In this context, the chair ceases to be merely a place to sit and becomes a space for listening, confrontation and transmission, almost an altar where the voice takes bodily form and manifests itself as an act of resistance and evocation.
