'Sewing with a Sewing Machine (Intermediate)' Workshop

We will create our first basic patterns on our own bodies and, throughout the term, make small pieces as practical exercises while developing our skills in making more complex garments. We will learn to add sleeves, collars and linings, working with different types of fabric (knit, viscose, stretch fabrics, etc.). For this workshop, bring a sewing machine, your own basic pattern, fabrics, fabric scissors, sewing needles and pins, sewing thread, tape measure, pattern paper, pencil, rulers and a notebook.
