ELS40 Stage. Show title: Només Música! Pop – Lleida. A group of friends who met at secondary school has grown into one of the most surprising acts in Catalan-language pop. They are Sexenni, creators of a sonic universe full of energy, irony and rapport with the audience, with lyrics packed with generational references that you will sing and dance to without inhibition. Every Sexenni concert is a fresh show combining social criticism, escapism and reflection, always with an accessible and life-affirming outlook. You may already have heard Només Música!, their latest EP (extended play). Its four songs let the music speak and have led Sexenni to collaborate with Catalan-scene artists such as Sidonie, Svetlana and Miki Núñez, searching for a balance between their pop and more varied sounds. Since releasing Patates amb peix in 2015 they have become a benchmark for festive music, so it is no surprise that they already appeared at Barcelona's festa major in 2016. They return this year with a new record and a new live show bearing their signature style.
