Between wood and metal, flesh and bone, the pink of everyday life and the dense blue of the unknown. Oral Abisal, one of the most ambitious, complex and celebrated works of Sílvia Pérez Cruz's career, is not just an album: it is an organic ebb and flow, a change of state that flows like the current of a river to dissolve any pre-established boundary. Produced by the Empordà-born artist herself, this universe unfolds in a two-sided sonic architecture that explores the extremes to find the purest nuances of human breath. On one side lives Oral, the warm and tangible refuge of song; a home built on the light of strings, drums, guitar and collective singing. On the other emerges Abisal, an introspective underwater cathedral whose meanders cannot be made out; a dimension of overlapping times built on the breath of brass, flutes and a cyclical, liquid and deep rhythm. Guided by this vision in which everything is made of the same matter, Sílvia's voice travels from lips to thirst and from memory to infinity, inviting us to take a gentle leap between the cold of the abyss and the refuge of a singing mouth.
