"Simón Orfila: A Life Devoted to Opera" Talk

Marc Sala, a tenor from Sarrià, presents a new season of talks on operas appearing in the city's programme. Whenever possible, the talks will be accompanied by guest artists and a short live musical performance. From his musical beginnings under the guidance of the great Alfredo Kraus to his establishment as one of the most prestigious basses on the international opera scene, Simón Orfila has built an exceptional career at the world's leading opera houses. In this conference we will discover the artistic and human journey of a singer who has performed at such emblematic venues as Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Opéra Bastille in Paris, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and many others.
