The 59th Festival de Jazz de Barcelona presents the big return of the American collective to the venue where they made their debut in the city. Some bands have a special bond with a city, and the relationship between Snarky Puppy and Barcelona is one of those that stays etched in the memory. That is why we are thrilled to announce their return as the second major confirmation of the 59th Festival de Jazz de Barcelona (2027). On 2 and 3 April 2027, the band led by bassist and composer Michael League will land at Paral·lel 62, the same venue where they gave their first concert in the city. A true homecoming to celebrate their career and reconnect with an audience that always welcomes them with open arms. With a career full of accolades (including several Grammy Awards) and an unrivalled ability to blend jazz, funk, rock, gospel and world music, Snarky Puppy is much more than a band: it is an explosive, infectious live experience. For these two concerts, the layout will be mixed seating with a standing stalls area, the perfect format because with their energy it is literally impossible to stand still.
