"Soul Party Vol.5" Concert
27 December 2026 · 20:30
Luz de Gas, Sant Gervasi - Galvany, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi
What began as a crazy dream of Lalo López and Curtcircuit — to bring back the most danceable and moving rhythm'n'blues, soul, funk and disco of all time in orchestral form — reaches its climax with the final edition of this very special chapter, together with the Barcelona Rock Strings. For the last time in this format, the spectacular Orchestral Soul Society, with 19 musicians on stage, will bring a one-off repertoire to life. After four parties that have given us memorable nights full of shared joy around music, it is time to close the five-part series and say goodbye to this format with one last big dance. Earth, Wind & Fire, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Jamiroquai and the Four Tops will all feature in a celebration with which Curtcircuit closes a year full of music. With vocals by Àlex Dee, Brigitte Emaga, Jonathan Herrero, Yasmina Azlor, Sergio Del Boccio and more names to be confirmed. No one will want to miss this great celebration of African American music in Barcelona. But the Soul Party doesn't end here… see you next year with a new and slightly different show!
Part of the programme: Curtcircuit 2026. See the 3 activities in this programme in Barcelona, from November 13 to December 27.
