'Stardust' Astrofamiliar Workshop

Led by Hèctor Cancio from the Institut de Física d'Altes Energies. Stars and the universe have a fascinating history. Long ago, after the birth of the universe, everything was so hot that matter could not form. Over time, the universe cooled and the first stars appeared. Inside stars, matter is transformed and the materials that will eventually form seas, trees, mountains and even ourselves are created. In this workshop we will discover how matter and stars were created by playing the "star game" and the "light game" to understand how the cosmos works. This workshop will take place at Centre Cívic Guinardó and is intended exclusively for family audiences. A separate registration is required for every participant, whether adult or child.
