Against all odds, Barcelona's most dissident underground scene enjoyed a real revival during the coronavirus pandemic, when infections and health restrictions made it harder than ever to get together to dance to electronic music. Could the phenomenon of clandestine parties during the pandemic be a vanishing point from which to rethink what health means to us? Subterrània is the performance of a testimonial symphony mixing dozens of voices from night-time culture and from healthcare staff who worked on the front line against covid, wrapping them in sounds from hospital settings and from parties to question the prevailing ideas about health in our society.
