'Sumi-e: Japanese Cherry Tree and Sakura Blossoms' Workshop

We will learn the art of sumi-e through drawing flowering trees such as the Japanese cherry tree and its sakura blossoms, and discover their meaning in Japanese culture. A workshop that enriches the spirit, encourages calm, helps you switch off and offers new experiences. Suitable for all levels, including beginners. Sumi-e is the Japanese ink-wash technique using black ink and, on occasion, a slight touch of colour to create subtle and elegant yet highly expressive forms. Workshop leader: Josep Valls.
