'Sumi-e: Meditation and Beauty. Therapeutic Painting' Workshop

Teacher: Anna Maria Llagostera. Focusing on spontaneity of line and mindful breathing, we will approach the classic motifs of Japanese sumi-e painting, mainly related to nature and the aesthetic principles of Zen art. The philosophy of sumi-e painting does not demand perfection. The method invites experimentation and Zen practice through ink and brush. Ultimately, it encourages the development of personal, unique and unrepeatable creations.
