Festival of beatmaking, rap and hip-hop culture. Led by TEMPLOjam. A festival devoted to hip-hop culture where beatmaking, rap, improvisation and urban art take centre stage throughout the day. TEMPLOjam, a project founded in Móstoles in 2018, comes to Girapells with an open, participatory proposal designed to connect emerging artists and audiences in the same space. Programme. 16:00 – 17:00 OPENING + TEMPLOJAM EXHIBITION. Opening of the exhibition space with a display devoted to beatmaking, music production and hip-hop culture. 17:00 – 18:30 BEATMAKING WORKSHOP. Discover how beats, samples and rhythms are created using drum machines, samplers and other music-production tools. 18:30 – 19:30 OPEN MIC & FREESTYLE. Open space for MCs, singers and artists to share their rhymes, improvisations and creations. 19:30 – 20:00 TEMPLOJAM SHOWCASE. Performance by TEMPLOjam members featuring live beatmaking, rap and electronic music. 20:00 – 22:00 FINAL JAM SESSION. The day's big open jam. Beatmakers, musicians, MCs and audience members share the stage in a collaborative experience where improvisation and creativity take centre stage.
