Quartet Auró Pol Fortuny, violin Aina Filella, violin Clementina Boeykens, viola Llorenç Carbó, cello The architecture of emotions: from Classicism to Romantic expression This narrated concert takes an educational approach, proposing a journey through musical architecture within the string quartet. Through works by Haydn, Weber and Mendelssohn, the audience will discover how composers build music using different forms and structures such as sonata form, the minuet, the scherzo and variations. The commentary between works and movements, together with performances of musical excerpts and supporting visuals, will help listeners understand how the musical and emotional argument of each piece unfolds. The programme aims to bring chamber music to all kinds of audiences, both those familiar with classical music and those discovering it for the first time.
