"The Band before the 18th Century" Concert by the Agrupació Musical de Cerdanyola del Vallès

A musical journey into the past through early music, reaching the 18th century with the music of Bach. The programme opens with the Toccata from Claudio Monteverdi's L'Orfeo, a work that evokes the origins of opera. Overall, the programme offers a rich and innovative experience, reviving pieces written for organ and for wind ensembles that preceded the symphonic band.
