Under the title "The Beatles: The Music of Our Lives", the session will be led by Ricard Harris Farrús, a music lover, avid reader and expert on all things related to the British band. During the lecture, Ricard Harris Farrús will talk about the importance of the Beatles' music and the mark it left on a whole generation. Music that went far beyond the songs and became a cultural phenomenon with a great influence on the society of its time. The talk will look at how the Beatles helped to bring about an evolution and a paradigm shift in different spheres, not only in music but also socially and politically. How did music change with the Beatles? What impact did they have on society? How did they influence a whole generation? These are some of the questions that will be discussed in this lecture and debate, which invites us to remember and reflect on the music of a band that remains part of the soundtrack of many lives. Join us for an afternoon of music, history and conversation as part of the 7th Amb Veu de Dona series.
