'The Body in Service: Work, Effort, Enjoyment' Workshop

A participatory movement and improvisation workshop aimed at people with or without previous experience in bodily or creative practices. Starting from the notion of the “body in service”, the proposal explores how bodies are activated, demanded and often exploited in contemporary economies shaped by tourism and global consumption. Through bodily activities and collective-creation exercises, everyday actions such as serving, carrying, cleaning and smiling are transformed into choreographic material, generating a space for critical reflection on the relationships between work, effort, spectacle and enjoyment, while reclaiming the body as a space of resistance, creativity and transformation.
