'The Fascinating Formation of Catalonia’s Landscapes' Workshop *NEW*

1 October 2026 – 17 December 2026 · 17:00

Centre Cívic Casa Golferichs, la Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample, Eixample

Did you know that Montserrat and Pedraforca were formed beneath the sea? Have you ever wondered about the relationship between the last glaciation and our coastline? Or between the volcanoes of La Garrotxa and the tragic earthquakes of the 15th century? Our land is a fascinating territory where climate and the planet's internal movements have left unique evidence. This course offers an accessible journey through Catalan geography. Through images, we will learn how nature has patiently sculpted beautiful coasts, deep valleys and the most iconic mountains. We will enjoy an engaging and approachable reading of the different landscapes beneath our feet. Teacher: Jose Antonio Muñoz.
