'The Idea of Europe: The Medieval Roots of an Invented Continent' Cultural Workshop *NEW*

Teacher: Pep Rueda. We will analyse the political, social, cultural and economic processes that shaped Europe during the Middle Ages and the Early Modern period. We will examine the formation of major political powers, the role of Christianity and religious transformations, the consolidation of dynasties and states, and the cultural and intellectual changes linked to the Renaissance and the Enlightenment. This will provide an understanding of the historical dynamics that marked Europe's trajectory, highlighting both periods of conflict and fragmentation and periods of transformation and cultural exchange.
