"The Maze Drawer" Show, by Nil Martín López and Júlia Valdivielso
5 February 2027 – 21 February 2027 · 20:00
Teatre El Maldà, el Barri Gòtic, Ciutat Vella
Do we ever stop feeling lost? Everything has a beginning. Whether everything has an end is open to question. This story, for instance, could begin with a boy who never stops drawing mazes, perhaps for fun, perhaps to find a way out. That boy is me. Years have passed, and I feel at least as lost as I did then. Today I've decided to go back to the Horta labyrinth, where I went so often as a child. You'll come with me. It will be a journey into the depths, full of mirror games, ghosts, mythological beings and pop icons, from the Greek Minotaur to Doraemon, the most famous cosmic cat of all time. The Maze Drawer explores the fear of not knowing which way to go in a world that demands certainties, combining humour, autofiction and magical realism. Let's hope we don't get lost.
