'The Presence of the Absent: A Poetic Installation on Grief, Memory and the Continuity of Bonds' Installation

The installation proposes a silent, sensory journey in which the audience can feel the fragility, presence and light that also inhabit the wound of grief. This project grows out of my book D'Olor and from the experience of grief as a life process rather than a form of closure. I am interested in creating an intimate and delicate space where words, images and objects meet to give form to what persists after loss. I do not seek to explain grief, but to make it present as a journey: an experience that transforms, accompanies and changes our way of being in the world. The installation proposes a silent, sensory route where the audience can feel the fragility, presence and light that also inhabit the wound. La presència dels absents is a poetic installation designed for small, intimate spaces such as civic centres, multi-purpose rooms or local cultural venues. The piece combines photographs, fragments of poems, a handwritten or typed letter, a symbolic object and, if desired, an optional audio reading.
