Show title: The Slates. Indie rock. Leeds and Manchester, United Kingdom. Manchester and Leeds may historically have been sporting and political rivals, but the union of musical talent from both cities has produced The Slates, four musicians around the age of twenty who embody the rediscovery and fusion of hard riffs, funky basslines, beats, thick bass sounds and melodies you will not be able to get out of your head. Come and hear them at their first Barcelona performance and they may remind you of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Beastie Boys and others in a similar vein.
