"The Street in an Instant" Exhibition

Francesc Llamas, Agrupació Fotogràfica de Catalunya. Going out to photograph the city without premeditation or direction, looking for the amusing, surprising or absurd side of the street, has become a vital activity. A city's streets are an infinite set offering characters, plays of colour, visual rhymes, juxtapositions, amusing moments, etc. The exhibition brings together these apparently impossible yet entirely real and accidental moments. Llamas composes a scene of completely spontaneous, unprepared snapshots: "For me, the essence of street photography is precisely that: photographing what you find without intervening in or altering the scene."
