'The World of Donald Trump' Workshop

Trump is egotistical, changeable and erratic on various issues —tariffs, relations with Ukraine, the dilemma between belligerence and pacifism, even aspirations for the Nobel Peace Prize— but he has some basic ideas that shape his policies. He is, of course, neither an intellectual nor an ideologue; however, there are ideologues and intellectuals who support him, provide the ideological ammunition and constitute Trumpism. In this course we will examine his personal biography, his beginnings in politics and the entire ultraconservative world that has fuelled his rise. Teacher: Rokayah Navarro.
