'Transformations of Barcelona: From Roman City to Modern Metropolis' Workshop

In this course we will take well-known representative buildings in the city as our starting point and use them to explain chronologically how Barcelona has grown and transformed. In each session we will begin with a major city building, monument or emblematic space and, through its history, see how it can explain the historical period of the city to which it belongs and how it has been interpreted historically over time.
