Tropical brings together a selection of illustrations by Dominican artist Elizabeth Montero Santa (La Flor del Tamarindo), whose visual practice sits at the intersection of memory, identity, territory and Afro-descendant representation. Through digital illustration, the artist builds an imaginary world that recovers experiences, affections and cultural references linked to her Caribbean origins, offering a sensitive reflection on the ways memory and belonging shape the migrant experience.
