'Unveiling Memory' Activation

«Unveiling memory» is a performance in which people with prior experience of photo transfer gradually reveal a mural work in the exhibition. Peeling away the layers of paper draws a parallel with recovering memory and making visible what had been hidden. The piece will be carried out by people familiar with the technique, but the activity is open to the public, who can attend and watch the whole process. The exhibition «Arxiu anònimes» offers a feminist rereading of inherited images and of the social imagery that has defined what a woman should be, what place she should occupy and what tasks she should carry.
