'Upcycling Sewing' Workshop

This workshop teaches basic hand-sewing techniques for repairing, adapting and reusing garments, extending their useful life and promoting more mindful consumption. It is open to people of all ages and levels and encourages independence, the reuse of materials and practical everyday skills. Materials to bring: hand-sewing needles of various thicknesses; strong thread —polyester or strong cotton—; fabric scissors; pins / safety pins; ruler or tape measure; thimble —optional but highly recommended—.
