'Uranus at Opposition' Astronomy Workshop

Led by Jaume Mas, coordinator of the Planetari Municipal de Barcelona. On 20 November, the planet Uranus will be at opposition. What does this mean? Will we be able to see it? When and how was this planet discovered? What did its discovery mean? In this educational workshop we will dust off a few books to recall a unique milestone in the history of astronomy that still has consequences today. This workshop will take place at Centre Cívic Guinardó and is intended exclusively for adults and accompanied young people over the age of sixteen.
