"Urban Sketching" Workshop

Join us for group drawing around the city! In this workshop we will learn the basics of drawing in situ: perspective, proportions, volume, light and shade... We will practise with and try different materials to discover what the different techniques can offer and, as a new feature this year, we will have one class a month on “indoor urban-sketching techniques”. At a relaxed pace, we will practise different drawing and painting techniques before applying them outdoors. Materials for the first day: small chair or stool. A5- or A4-size sketchbook with paper of 100 gsm or more. Pencils, fineliners, watercolours, coloured pencils… —the teacher will provide some materials to try during sessions—.
