'Urban Sketching' Workshop

Drawing from life is fundamental to learning how to represent what surrounds us. We will go out into the street equipped with a sketchbook and pencil and capture everything our eyes can take in. We will learn to observe our surroundings and look at things from a new perspective. We will sharpen hand and mind while exploring the city. Any technique is welcome for a sketcher, as long as it is simple and easy to use: pencil, pen, markers, brush, fountain pen, watercolour. When you register, we will let you know which materials may be useful in case you need to purchase any in advance. Teacher: Ricardo Hermida.
