Vanessa Paradis returns to the stage with a new album marking her major musical return to pop and soul influences. Le Retour des beaux jours, her eighth studio album, was co-written, composed and produced with her long-time collaborator Étienne Daho and Jean-Louis Piérot. Since Les Sources (2018), she has focused mainly on cinema and theatre while continuing to write and compose songs. Inspired by 1960s and 1970s soul, the album combines warmth, danceable rhythms and great pop sophistication. Recorded at iconic studios such as Motorbass and Abbey Road, it radiates an intimate, sunlit quality. It reflects a mature, free artist fully in tune with her creative universe.
