Huellas en el Tiempo. Jazz – Spain. A contemporary jazz group formed in 2019 at l'Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona) comes to Música Mercè with its debut album Huellas en el Tiempo, a project of original compositions combining the language of jazz with influences from classical music and flamenco, playing with complex rhythmic structures and a distinctive sound. The band's original music centres on interaction between the musicians, rhythmic development and the exploration of different soundscapes. Improvisation carries considerable weight, allowing new structures to be created at each concert. The repertoire was conceived for live performance, retaining the essence of the album while expanding its possibilities on stage.
