'Visibles' Exhibition

"Visibles" is an exhibition highlighting the role of women in rural and farming life through the career of Rosa Pruna i Esteve, a farmer from Llerona and a pioneer in defending the rights of women farmers. Coinciding with the fortieth anniversary of Spain's entry into the European Economic Community, the exhibition reviews progress in the professional, employment and social recognition of women in agriculture, taking as its starting point Directive 86/613/EEC of 1986. It also celebrates four decades of demands and achievements, and invites reflection on the inequalities that still persist and the challenges ahead.
