As part of the centenary of Antoni Gaudí's death, Torre Bellesguard is launching a special activity that is free and suitable for all ages. Everyone who visits Torre Bellesguard during 2026 will be able to take part in creating a collective trencadís piece: a large-scale replica of the cross crowning the pinnacle. The structure is based on the real dimensions and proportions, using a point-cloud survey carried out by Galdric Santana, Bellesguard's conservation architect and director of the research group. To help disseminate knowledge of trencadís, visitors will be able to learn about and try with their own hands one of Gaudí's most famous techniques, contributing their part to this collective project, which will become a museum piece capable of representing Bellesguard at exhibitions around the world.
