'Wine Tasting: The Art of Blending' Workshop *NEW*

Why are many of the world's great wines not made from a single grape variety? In this workshop we will discover what blending is and why mixing different grapes has historically been the most common way of making wine. Through several tastings we will understand how each variety contributes different qualities and how producers seek balance and personality by combining native varieties from each territory. A tasting to understand the dialogue between fruit, structure, tension and elegance through the great blends of the world's winemaking tradition (*Activity with an additional fee).
