'Women and Philosophy in the Ancient World' Workshop *NEW*

The absence of women from the history of philosophy is overwhelming. It is legitimate to ask: has their presence been erased, or was there perhaps no philosophical production by women until recent times? Clarifying this question leads us to search for women philosophers throughout history. We invite you to take part in the process of recovering and restoring their voices, ideas and works; we will return a voice to women authors and philosophers of the past, beginning with the origins in Greece, where philosophy as a form of reflection and a way of life was born. Women philosophers were there. Let us bear witness to them. Teacher: Xosé Manuel Díaz Fouces.
