'Woodcut for Beginners. Your Image as a Print' Workshop *NEW*

Discover woodcut and linocut techniques from scratch. Throughout the course we will learn the basics of woodcut and relief printing, transforming personal images, drawings or photographs into original prints. We will explore the entire creative process: from preparing the design and transferring the image to carving the block, inking and hand-printing. We will work with specific tools and materials, experimenting with textures, lines and contrasts to develop a personal graphic language. The workshop is designed to enjoy a slow, expressive and handcrafted creative process, with each participant able to create their own printed pieces. Ideal for anyone seeking a creative, hands-on and expressive space. No previous experience is required. When you register, we will let you know which materials may be useful in case you need to purchase any in advance. (*Activity with an additional fee). Teacher: Anita Cortés.
