Petit Palau, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, Ciutat Vella
Dramatised version with Elisabet Casanovas. With the collaboration of Festival Clàssics. La Camerata revisits A Midsummer Night's Dream from a contemporary perspective that brings music, text and staging into dialogue. Mendelssohn's score becomes the starting point for a new stage experience created jointly with Elisabet Casanovas, Anna Andreu and Judit Colomer. Far from historical reconstruction, the proposal seeks to activate the questions that still inhabit Shakespeare's work and to explore them through today's sensibility. An invitation to cross the border between what is real and what exists only for one summer night. Artistic credits Elisabet Casanovas, actress Clara González and Núria Vives, singers Cor Aglepta (Oriol Castanyer, conductor) La Camerata Judit Colomer, concept and stage direction Anna Andreu, texts Rash Cabounan, costumes Lorenza Borrani, conductor Programme F. Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night's Dream
