"Brain Cholesterol: A Great Unknown" Lecture

Although we understand fairly well how the mechanisms regulating cholesterol in the blood work, many questions remain about how it is regulated in the brain. This matters all the more given that around 20% of the body's total cholesterol is in the head, where it is crucial to neuronal function. In this talk we will explore the relationship between abnormal cholesterol levels and cognitive decline, and see how research advances are helping us understand these processes better.
