El Plat Impossible is an academic project within the Bachelor's Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences at CETT–UB, developed as part of the fourth-year subject Creative Process and Contemporary Culinary Technology. The project begins by formulating an impossibility: a physical, chemical, sensory, temporal or conceptual limit that, at first sight, does not appear solvable. Through research, experimentation and the application of scientific and gastronomic knowledge, students develop a reasoned proposal that places the intellectual process at the centre of culinary creation. This exhibition brings together the 10 finalist projects, where cooking is presented not only as a result but as a process of creative thought.
