Art Nou is Barcelona and L'Hospitalet's emerging-art festival, offering young national and international creators the opportunity to establish their first professional relationship with the art market, galleries, self-managed spaces and institutions devoted to emerging art. Once again, the festival seeks to stimulate young production, champion galleries as spaces for encounter and debate, and connect art professionals with the general public. The 15th edition of Art Nou 2026 will begin on 25 June with the opening of all Barcelona exhibitions and on 26 June with those in L'Hospitalet, where this year's edition will officially open at Edifici Isaac Peral with an intervention by Mourae. The closing event will take place at La Capella on 3 September with a performance by Alicia Val in collaboration with Club9. Art Nou will offer a programme of more than fifty exhibitions and over one hundred and ten artists, along with an extensive programme of activities including guided visits, openings, conversations with artists, performances, screenings and actions at galleries, institutions and independent spaces.
